A Joyful Christmas Tree Farm Family Session | Smith Family

It was a brisk and windy day, sprinkled with snow flurries, but the Smith family brought all the warmth we needed with their love, laughter, and unshakable family bond.

The setting was absolutely stunning with rows of perfectly shaped Christmas trees stretched endlessly. Despite the chilly air, the Smith family’s cheerful energy lit up every frame. Their love and playfulness made it clear how much joy they share as a family, and it was a privilege to capture that joy for them.

Adding even more personality to this Christmas tree farm family session was their sweet dog, Lacey. She bounded through the trees, occasionally pausing to “pose” for a few hilarious shots. Her playful antics definitely kept us all laughing, she was rolling around as if she was determined to smell like a Christmas tree when she left. Pets are truly part of the family and it’s always a blast when families bring their dogs along for their photographs.

Even with the wind and cold, this session was a delight. The Smiths’ genuine love for one another was undeniable, and their resilience against the chilly weather was admirable. After we wrapped up their portraits among the trees, their sweet girls ran to the car to warm up with mugs of hot cocoa.

I feel honored to have documented this sweet moment in their lives.
