Sunset Engagement Portraits in Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia
Now these two can dance!! Jon and Tali’s love story grew on the dance floor in Salsa Dancing classes. Getting a front-row seat to watch them salsa dance during their session was so much fun. Jon and Tali always keep the party going, anytime I have been around these two, the room is full of fun and laughter! When they got engaged in December I was honored when Tali approached me to be their wedding photographer.
Meaningful footsteps. When choosing a location for their engagement portrait session I knew 2 things. They love going on long hikes and myself, not so much. All joking aside, Jon had the perfect locations in mind. With family ties to The Pointe at Mariners Landing and their love for the Smith Mountain Lake State Park, there was no question these were the best locations. During their session, Jon shared his memories of visiting his uncle at Mariners Landing with his beloved dog and watching the sunset. They shared a date there as well and it couldn’t have been a better place to watch the sunset with the one you love!
Tying the knot. Jon and Tali will be getting married in early September at the elegant Inn at Forest Oaks in Natural Bridge, VA. Matt and I are excited to capture all the sweet moments that await on their wedding day! Check out Tali’s beautiful heirloom engagement ring below.
So happy for you two nerds! Love you beyond words!
